Commissioned through H+ Creative, I contributed to the creation of large-format custom stage visuals for Tchami’s 2022 Coachella performance, developing two core artistic directions that were expanded into eight fully produced visual sequences. Each piece was designed for the festival’s high-resolution LED architecture, blending divine sanctuary aesthetics, cosmic environments, and cinematic, movement-driven animation aligned with Tchami’s iconic priest persona.
Built in Blender 3D and the Adobe Creative Suite, the visuals leveraged forced-perspective illusions, architectural depth, and animated spatial cues to create an immersive sense of scale on stage. I also developed the stage template files, guiding CGI layout and production to ensure each visual mapped precisely to the Coachella stage design.
My contributions focused on expansive 3D environments, celestial motion, and atmospheric animation, featuring floating orbs, shifting galactic elements, and cathedral-like structures that elevated the spiritual and dramatic tone of Tchami’s set.
This project demonstrated my ability to design for large-scale performance visuals, integrating art direction, technical mapping, and animated worldbuilding to create a cohesive and immersive live experience for one of Coachella’s most iconic electronic acts.
