As a Grant-Based Student Teacher and Research Assistant at the Immersive Media Lab (UWM), I explored the intersection of 3D modeling, digital fabrication, and animation pipelines within immersive environments. My research focused on developing efficient 3D production workflows for both experimental and practical applications — bridging creative design, motion, and emerging technology. (Software: The Foundry Suite — Nuke, Modo, Mari)
I contributed to research initiatives, asset modeling, and animated prototypes, collaborating closely with faculty and students on projects integrating AR/VR, projection mapping, and digital fabrication methods. This hands-on experience deepened my understanding of how virtual design translates into real-world installations through iterative prototyping, technical experimentation, and cross-disciplinary teamwork.
This grant-supported initiative provided valuable insight into academic research methodology, creative technology development, and the rapidly evolving landscape of immersive media and experiential design.
